Does Connecticut offer early voting?

Yes, Connecticut offers early voting! You can choose whether to vote on Election Day or during the early voting period, whichever is easier for you. This can be especially helpful if it would be difficult or not possible for you to vote on Election Day. Early voting locations may be less crowded, as well.

Early voting locations may be different from where you vote on Election Day. In Waterford, early voting is ONLY available at the Waterford Town Hall (15 Rope Ferry Road).

October 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31 and November 1 - 10:00am-6:00pm
October 27 and 29 - 8:00am-8:00pm

What do I need to bring?

If you’re a first-time voter who registered by mail, you will need to show proof of residence as well.
Acceptable forms include: current and valid photo ID that shows your name and address copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or government document that shows your name and address
Voters without ID: If you are unable to provide ID, you will be able to sign an affidavit instead and then vote normally.
If you’re a first-time voter without ID, you may vote a provisional ballot.
