Ted takes his role on the RTM as a representative of the people in the 2nd District to heart, and has earned a well-deserved reputation as someone who will ask probing questions to ensure that cost efficiencies and best practices are built in to every proposed project or policy.

During his tenure on the RTM, he has served on a variety of RTM committees (e.g., Finance, Wage and Personnel; Public Works, Planning and Development) and has been appointed to several Town Commissions.

Ted’s dedication to community involvement is evidenced in his many years of volunteer work with local nonprofits. He is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Waterford Country School, project manager for the New London Homeless Hospitality Center, and Past President of the Waterford Library’s Board of Trustees.

A resident of Waterford for more than 35 years, Ted is a small business owner, registered home improvement contractor, and a real estate broker with Landmark Agency.  He is also a Construction Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and past President of the Eastern CT Builders Association.
