Kathy Nunes Peterson

Kathleen Nunes Peterson is a candidate for the RTM's fourth district. Kathy has worked for the Town of Waterford for 16 years, the first 11 as the executive assistant to former First Selectman  Dan Steward and the last 5 as Waterford's community fire and life safety educator. These roles in municipal government give Kathy a unique blend of practical and educational experience. From hands-on knowledge of the town's budgeting process to evaluating the needs of our residents, Kathy's passion for public safety, the disabled and senior populations and fiscal transparency will serve her district well. Kathy's greatest joy is being a mother and stepmother to three grown children, a grandmother to two-year old Maeve, and a new grandson who will be arriving later this fall.
